WE ARE A BLESSED BUNCH
The Word of God tells us that it is when we are hungry and thirsty after righteousness that we will be filled!
In other words, it is the person that recognizes that there is a new way or a new direction to be learned in Christ Jesus.
I am not here to convince you, I am here to minister to you the way!
It is yours and mine responsibility to be hungry and thirsty and we do this by getting into the Word, prayer and the presence of God!
See, I bring a provision just as a person that owns a gas station. You have to go and fill it up with gas so the car can run. It is not that attendants fault if you do not have gas. It is our job to recognize that there is an emptiness and a need for God!
The provision is there, but you have to be willing to fill it up, OR, think you can go one more miles before you can run out of gas!
If we say we have an intimate connection with the Father but continue stumbling around in darkness, then we are lying because we do not live according to truth. – 1 John 1:6
But if you are not experiencing the correction that all true children receive, then it may be that you are not His children after all. – Hebrews 12:8
Other translations say that you are a bastard!
Bastard may refer to: Illegitimate child, a child born to unmarried parents, Bastard!
In other words they all refer to being in sin.
Simply because the bible says that to him that knows to do right and does not do it, it is counted as sin.
Now when we are talking about correction, sometimes we have the worlds interpretation, which means a lot of whooping’s. This is not true, with God it is simply a change of directions. We learn to do things in a different way.
Now, the only thing that sometimes is painful, is choosing God’s will over ours. This is referred to as a cross in our lives. Why, probably because He is asking us to do something we do not want to do, we are fearful to do, or the devil is telling us that we are going to be at a loss and using our flesh bringing discouragement, fear or anger, with a lot of worry.
We have to be agreeable to letting go of that spirit of hostility to the way of the Lord!
Remember Jesus destroyed the power of that hostility by the CROSS.
Which means letting go of what the devil says and trusting God.
We know the devil is a liar and I can tell you by experience that no matter how hard it seems to do God’s will, you will be blessed by its result.
This is why the Word of God says, “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.”
Always keep this scripture in front of you;
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Eternal, “plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope—never forget that. – Jeremiah 29:11
Also the fact the Jesus loves you and the promise that says, “He who touches you touches the apple of mine eye.”
Also, He said, “I will never give you more than you can handle, but with each trial and temptation, He will make a way of escape.”
With Him there is always a victory!
We are a blessed bunch, but the wrong understanding can bring a separation in our relationship with God.
Remember He said that if we be willing and obedient we would eat the good of the land!
He said come now let us reason together says the Lord, though your sins are red like crimson, I will make them whiter than snow.
He is not mad at you, He is waiting for you!
